UDDEVALLA (SE) – Un’altra ottima prestazione di Alberto Forato.

La quindicesima prova del campionato del mondo motocross ha sede in Svezia, sulla storica pista di Uddevalla. La manifestazione, particolarmente sentita da pubblico e piloti, è stata un successo nonostante il meteo non sia stato sempre clemente; ad accompagnare le classi MX2 ed MXGP, presente anche la classe EMX250 alla quale hanno preso il via Federico Tuani e Luca Ruffini, tornato dopo l’infortunio.
Altro ritorno in MX2 per Lorenzo Ciabatti, che dopo l’infortunio rimediato in Repubblica Ceca è tornato dietro al cancello di partenza, mentre per la classe MXGP presente come di consueto Alberto Forato, a completare la line-up del team SM Action Yuasa Battery.
Partendo dal Sabato, prestazione non al meglio per Forato nella MXGP che ottiene il nono posto nella gara di qualifica, dimostrando comunque una buona velocità.
Nella MX2 buon rientro di Ciabatti, che con un ritmo costante ottiene il sedicesimo posto nella gara di qualifica.
La classe EMX250, che prevede una gara al sabato, vede una buona prestazione dei due portacolori del team: Tuani termina a un passo dalla top ten, in undicesima posizione dopo una buona gara, mentre Luca Ruffini al rientro è ventitreesimo, dopo aver completato una buona rimonta.
Nella giornata di domenica, caratterizzata da un meteo altalenante, Ruffini incappa in una caduta alla prima curva che non gli consente di finire la gara, mentre Tuani centra una partenza strepitosa in quarta posizione. A causa di qualche errore di troppo, termina alla bandiera a scacchi in settima posizione, dimostrando una buona velocità e ottenendo il settimo posto di giornata.
Nella classe MX2 prestazione consistente di Lorenzo Ciabatti, che in entrambe le gare centra la top venti dimostrando una buona velocità al rientro, seppur con poco allenamento alle spalle. In gara uno è sedicesimo, mentre in gara due dopo un’ottima partenza a ridosso della top ten è costretto a cedere il passo a causa della condizione non ottimale, ma riesce comunque a bissare il risultato di gara uno. La classifica di giornata lo vede in diciassettesima posizione.
Nella classe regina, la MXGP, Alberto non ottiene un’ottima partenza in gara uno, ma dimostrando un ottimo ritmo comincia una rimonta incalzante che lo porta a ridosso della top five, in settima posizione.
Risultato che riesce a confermare anche in gara due, dove con una buona partenza segue da vicino la top five e termina con pochi secondi di distacco dalla quarta posizione. La classifica di giornata lo vede al settimo posto.
Ritroveremo il team impegnato nella sedicesima tappa del mondiale MXGP la prossima settimana in Olanda, ad Arnhem.

UDDEVALLA (SE) – Another excellent performance by Alberto Forato.
The fifteenth round of the motocross world championship is based in Sweden, on the historic Uddevalla track. The event, particularly felt by the public and pilots, was a success despite the weather not always being clement; to accompany the MX2 and MXGP classes, there was also the EMX250 class in which Federico Tuani and Luca Ruffini took off, who returned after the injury. Another return to MX2 for Lorenzo Ciabatti, who after the injury sustained in the Czech Republic returned behind the starting gate, while for the MXGP class Alberto Forato was present as usual to complete the line-up of the SM Action Yuasa Battery team.
Starting from Saturday, not the best performance for Forato in the MXGP who gets the ninth place in the qualifying race, however showing a good speed.
In the MX2 good return of Ciabatti, who with a constant pace gets the sixteenth place in the qualifying race.
The EMX250 class, which includes a race on Saturday, sees a good performance by the two team bearers: Tuani finishes one step away from the top ten, in eleventh position after a good race, while Luca Ruffini is twenty-third after completing a good comeback.
On Sunday, characterized by fluctuating weather, Ruffini ran into a crash at the first corner which did not allow him to finish the race, while Tuani made an amazing start in fourth position. Due to a few mistakes, he finished at the checkered flag in seventh position, demonstrating good speed and obtaining the seventh place of the day.
In the MX2 class consistent performance by Lorenzo Ciabatti, who in both races hits the top twenty demonstrating good speed on his return, albeit with little training behind him. In race one he is sixteenth, while in race two after an excellent start close to the top ten he is forced to give way due to the non-optimal condition, but still manages to repeat the result of race one.
The classification of the day sees him in seventeenth position.
In the premier class, the MXGP, Alberto did not get an excellent start in race one, but demonstrating an excellent pace, he began a pressing comeback that brought him close to the top five, in seventh position.
A result that he also manages to confirm in race two, where with a good start he closely follows the top five and finishes with a few seconds behind fourth position.
The classification of the day sees him in seventh place.
We will find the team engaged in the sixteenth round of the MXGP world championship next week in Holland, in Arnhem.
