Arco di Trento, 18 e 19 Aprile 2026 – Il secondo GP consecutivo in Italia si è disputato sul sempre suggestivo tracciato del Ciclamino di Arco di Trento. Non è stato un fine settimana semplice per Valk ed Uccellini che in sella alle loro TM hanno fatto fatica nel GP del Trentino.
Per Cas Valk il weekend di gara lo ha visto ottenere il 15° tempo nel time practice. Nella manche di qualifica Cas non è scattato bene e nel corso del primo giro è riuscito ad entrare nei venti. Da li in poi ha cercato di recuperare il più possibile fino ad arrivare alla 12° posizione al traguardo.
Domenica al via della prima manche ha iniziato a piovere e la pista è diventata molto scivolosa. Cas ha praticamente copiato la manche del sabato, costretto a rimontare dopo un avvio complicato è riuscito a sopravanzare diversi avversari fino a passare per 13° sotto la bandiera a scacchi.
In gara due il suo avvio è stato migliore e da subito è entrato nei primi quindici in classifica, poi però non è stato facile trovare il modo di entrare nella top ten. Al traguardo ha chiuso in 12° posizione in un fine settimana dove non ha mai trovato un gran feeling con la pista.

Adesso nella classifica del mondiale MX2 Cas occupa la 12° posizione.
CAS VALK: “Il sabato ad Arco non è stato dei migliori, abbiamo faticato un po’ per tutta la giornata. Ma nelle due manche di domenica avevo un feeling migliore e la guida era migliore. A presto!”.

Andrea Uccellini in gara nella tappa di EMX125 ha iniziato con le cronometrate che lo hanno visto far segnare il 4° tempo del suo gruppo di qualifica, il che gli ha permesso di sceglier un buon posto al cancelletto.
Al via della prima manche di sabato pomeriggio non è riuscito a scattare bene ed ha subito dovuto rimontare dalle retrovie. Transitato poco prima del trentesimo posto Andrea ha spinto per tutta la manche riuscendo ad entrare in zona punti con il 19° posto sotto la bandiera a scacchi.
In gara due le cose sono andate meglio sin dall’avvio, partito nella top ten ha perso alcune posizioni nelle prime battute di gara, poi negli ultimi giri ha potuto riprendersi alcune posizioni transitando 12° sotto la bandiera a scacchi.
Con questi risultati si è classificato 15° nell’assoluta del GP ed ora in campionato perde un paio di posizioni rispetto allo scorso GP, ora è 7°.

ANDREA UCCELLINI: “E’ stato un GP difficile per me, purtroppo sono arrivato ad Arco con un problema ad una mano che mi ha reso difficilissimo guidare. Ho stretto i denti per portare a casa il massimo possibile. Dopo una buona qualifica nella prima manche sono partito male ed ho dovuto rimontare il più possibile. In gara due sono partito meglio ma il dolore alla mano si è fatto sentire ed ho fatto il massimo che potevo. Nono sono le posizioni che mi rispecchiano ma è andata così. Ora sono settimo in campionato ma sono convinto che posso recuperare dalla Francia in poi. Grazie al team, alla mia famiglia ed a tutti quelli che mi seguono”.
Adesso ci sarà un mese di pausa tra questo GP ed il prossimo che si correrà in Francia. Il team sfrutterà questo periodo per lavorare con i ragazzi e correre qualche prova nei vari campionati nazionali per sistemare quello che non ha funzionato sin qui.

Arco di Trento, 18 and 19 April 2026 – The second consecutive GP in Italy was held on the always suggestive Ciclamino route in Arco di Trento. It wasn’t an easy weekend for Valk and Uccellini who struggled in the Trentino GP on their TMs.
For Cas Valk the race weekend saw him achieve the 15th time in practice time. In the qualifying heat Cas didn’t get off to a good start and during the first lap he managed to get into the twenties. From then on he tried to recover as much as possible until reaching 12th position at the finish line.At the start of the first heat on Sunday it started to rain and the track became very slippery. Cas practically copied Saturday’s heat, forced to recover after a complicated start and managed to overtake several rivals until he took the checkered flag in 13th place.In race two his start was better and he immediately entered the top fifteen in the standings, but then it wasn’t easy to find a way to enter the top ten. At the finish line he finished in 12th position on a weekend where he never found a great feeling with the track.Cas now occupies 12th position in the MX2 world rankings.
CAS VALK: “Saturday in Arco wasn’t the best, we struggled a bit throughout the day. But in the two heats on Sunday I had a better feeling and the riding was better. See you soon!”.
Andrea Uccellini competing in the EMX125 stage started with the timed sessions which saw him set the 4th time in his qualifying group, which allowed him to choose a good place at the gate. At the start of the first heat on Saturday afternoon he was unable to get a good start and immediately had to come back from the back. Having finished just short of thirtieth place, Andrea pushed throughout the heat, managing to get into the points with 19th place under the checkered flag.In race two things went better right from the start, starting in the top ten he lost some positions in the early stages of the race, then in the final laps he was able to regain some positions passing 12th under the checkered flag.With these results he ranked 15th in the GP overall and now in the championship he loses a couple of positions compared to the last GP, he is now 7th.
ANDREA UCCELLINI: “It was a difficult GP for me, unfortunately I arrived in Arco with a problem in one hand that made it very difficult for me to ride. I gritted my teeth to bring home the maximum possible. After a good qualifying in the first heat I started badly and had to recover as much as possible. In race two I started better but the pain in my hand made itself felt and I did the best I could. Ninth are the positions that reflect me but that’s how it went. Now I’m seventh in the championship but I’m convinced that I can recover from France onwards. Thanks to the team, my family and everyone who follows me.”
Now there will be a month’s break between this GP and the next one in France. The team will use this period to work with the boys and run some tests in the various national championships to fix what hasn’t worked so far.
