Almonte, 21/22 Marzo 2026 – Si è corsa in Spagna la seconda prova di mondiale e con essa anche la prima dell’europeo EMX125. Il tracciato sabbioso di Almonte, in Andalusia, è stato un banco di prova molto impegnativo per entrambi i nostri piloti Cas Valk ed Andrea Uccellini.
Per Cas il sabato del GP è iniziato con le crono per l’accesso al cancelletto della manche di qualifica, per lui l’11° tempo. Al via della qualifying race è scattato a metà gruppo tentando di recuperare qualcosa nei primi giri, poi si è stabilizzato poco oltre la top ten chiudendo in 12° posizione.
Domenica lo start di gara uno non è stato buono ma nel corso del primo giro è risalito fino alla tredicesima posizione. La sua gara è stata sempre in quella zona di classifica ed è terminata con un 14° posto.
La seconda manche ha ricalcato la prima con Cas a combattere a centro gruppo per poi raccogliere un 11° posto che visti i suoi problemi alle braccia è stato un risultato positivo.
Nell’assoluta di giornata Valk ha chiuso in 13° posizione ed ora, nella classifica del mondiale MX2, occupa l’11° posizione.
CAS VALK: “Questo fine settimana non è stato facile, ho lottato tutto il weekend con l’armpump e la guida non era delle migliori, abbiamo ancora del lavoro da fare e continueremo a lavorare per migliorare nelle prossime gare! Grazie al team per tutto il lavoro”.
Andrea ha iniziato il suo europeo con un bel 3° tempo nelle cronometrate del suo gruppo di qualifica che gli hanno permesso di avere un buon posto al cancelletto di partenza.
Purtroppo per lui in nessuna delle due manche è riuscito a scattare bene ritrovandosi sempre a dover rimontare da dietro.
In gara uno dall’ultima posizione ha fatto una bellissima progressione che lo ha portato fino al 9° posto. Nella seconda manche ancora problemi allo start che lo hanno costretto di nuovo a risalire la classifica, questa volta la rimonta lo ha portato fino alla 7° posizione.
Con questi risultati Andrea ora occupa la 7° posizione nella classifica di campionato della EMX125.

ANDREA UCCELLINI: “Sono in parte soddisfatto di questo weekend. Al sabato il feeling con la pista è cresciuto ad ogni entrata, il terzo tempo del mio gruppo è stato un buon risultato. Al via di gara uno sono scattato male e mi sono ritrovato tra gli ultimi e la rimonta mi ha portato fino al nono posto. Domenica sono partito poco meglio in gara due ma alla prima curva per tentare di recuperare qualche posizione mi sono di nuovo ritrovato tra gli ultimi, poi altra rimonta fino al settimo posto. Sono contento della moto e della mia forma fisica, devo lavorare sulle partenze perché sono fondamentali per stare davanti. Ringrazio il team per il grande lavoro, la TM nella persona di Gastone Serafini, la mia famiglia e tutti quelli che ci aiutano in questa stagione. Ci vediamo in Svizzera”.
L’occasione del riscatto è già dietro l’angolo. Nel prossimo weekend infatti si correrà il GP di Svizzera come sempre sul tracciato di Frauenfeld. Cas ed Andrea proveranno a migliorarsi ed a far vedere il loro vero potenziale.

Almonte, 21/22 March 2026 – The second round of the world championship took place in Spain and with it also the first of the European EMX125. The sandy track of Almonte, in Andalucia, was a very challenging test for both our riders, Cas Valk and Andrea Uccellini.
For Cas, the Saturday of the GP began with the time trials for access to the gate of the qualifying heat, for him the 11th time. At the start of the qualifying race he started in the middle of the group, trying to recover something in the first laps, then stabilized just beyond the top ten, finishing in 12th position.On Sunday the start of race one was not good but during the first lap he climbed up to thirteenth position. His race was always in that area of the standings and ended in 14th place.The second heat followed the first with Cas fighting in the middle of the group and then picking up an 11th place which, given his arm problems, was a positive result.In the day’s overall, Cas finished in 13th position and now, in the MX2 world rankings, he occupies 11th position.
CAS VALK: “This weekend wasn’t easy, I struggled all weekend with the armpump and the riding wasn’t the best, we still have work to do and we will continue to work to improve in the next races! Thanks to the team for all the work.”
Andrea started with a good 3rd time in the time trials of his qualifying group which allowed him to have a good place at the starting gate. Unfortunately for him in neither of the two heats was he able to get away well, always finding himself having to come back from behind.In race one he made a beautiful progression from last position which took him up to 9th place. In the second heat there were still problems at the start which forced him to move up the rankings again, this time the comeback took him up to 7th position.With these results Andrea now occupies 7th position in the EMX125 championship standings.
ANDREA UCCELLINI: “I am partially satisfied with this weekend. On Saturday the feeling with the track grew with each entry, the third time of my group was a good result. At the start of race one I got off to a bad start and found myself among the last and the comeback took me up to ninth place. On Sunday I started a little better in race two but at the first corner to try to recover some positions I found myself among the last again, then another comeback up to seventh place. I’m happy with the bike and my form physics, I have to work on the starts because they are fundamental to stay at the front. I thank the team for the great work, TM in the person of Gastone Serafini, my family and everyone who helps us this season.”
The opportunity for redemption is already around the corner. In fact, next weekend the Swiss GP will take place as always on the Frauenfeld track. Cas and Andrea will try to improve themselves and show their true potential.
