Il team Maddii Honda ABF Italia è entusiasta di annunciare ufficialmente l’ingaggio di Maxime Grau per la stagione agonistica 2026. Il giovane talento francese difenderà i colori della squadra nel Campionato del Mondo FIM Motocross MX2, in sella alla Honda CRF250R.

Una nuova sfida in rosso
Dopo aver mostrato sprazzi di classe cristallina nelle passate stagioni europee e mondiali, Grau approda in un ambiente tecnico di prim’ordine, dove potrà beneficiare del supporto diretto di Honda ABF Italia e del know-how di un team che ha fatto la storia del motocross.
“Siamo molto felici di accogliere Maxime nella nostra famiglia,” ha dichiarato Marco Maddii, Team Manager. “Lo seguiamo da tempo e crediamo fermamente che nel nostro contesto possa compiere quel salto di qualità necessario per lottare costantemente nelle posizioni di vertice della MX2. Abbiamo già iniziato il lavoro di preparazione e il feeling con la moto è eccellente.”
Il programma sportivo prevede la partecipazione a tutti i round del Mondiale MX2. L’obiettivo dichiarato è quello di inserire stabilmente la Honda CRF250R del team Maddii all’interno della top 10 mondiale, puntando a exploit sul podio grazie alla determinazione del nuovo acquisto francese.

Sono passate due settimane ormai su questa moto e finora abbiamo fatto degli ottimi allenamenti e dei buoni test insieme ai meccanici e la squadra, e sta andando tutto nel migliore dei modi. Mi sto divertendo molto e sono davvero entusiasta di iniziare questa nuova stagione e di dare il massimo.”

Team Maddii Honda ABF Italia is thrilled to officially announce the signing of Maxime Grau for the 2026 racing season. The young French talent will defend the team’s colors in the FIM Motocross MX2 World Championship, riding the Honda CRF250R.
Grau’s signature marks a significant step in the growth strategy of the team led by the legendary experience of the Maddii family. Known for his pure speed and aggressive style, Maxime represents the ideal profile to carry forward the tradition of excellence and scouting that has made this Tuscan structure famous on the international stage.
A new challenge in red
After showing flashes of pure class in past European and World Championship seasons, Grau joins a top-tier technical environment. Here, he can benefit from the direct support of Honda ABF Italia and the know-how of a team that has made motocross history.
“We are very happy to welcome Maxime into our family,” declared Marco Maddii, Team Manager. “We have been following him for a long time and we firmly believe that, within our context, he can make that leap in quality necessary to consistently fight for top positions in MX2. We have already started the preparation work and the feeling with the bike is excellent.”
The sporting program includes participation in all rounds of the MX2 World Championship. The stated goal is to establish the Team Maddii Honda CRF250R permanently within the world top 10, aiming for podium breakthroughs thanks to the determination of the new French recruit.

Two weeks have passed on this bike and so far we have had excellent training and good tests together with the mechanics and the team, and everything is going in the best possible way.
