Terzo appuntamento di fila per Il Fantic Factory Team Maddii che si è corso sulla pista di Teutschenthal in Germania, dopo il fango della gara di Erneè nella prima giornata di gare la polvere ha creato qualche problema di visibilità ai piloti.

Nella classe 125 ottima prestazione in qualifica per Cas Valk ed Alexis Fueri che si sono distinti per velocità nel loro gruppo andando a far segnare il primo e il terzo tempo.
Al via della prima manche i due alfieri di Marco Maddii non riescono a trovare una buona uscita dal cancello e al primo giro transitano quarto Alexis e quinto Cas. Il giovane francese Fueri è riuscito in pochi giri a trovare il giusto ritmo e le traiettorie ideali per recuperare posizioni e finendo la gara in seconda posizione. Cas Valk ha faticato più del previsto a trovare il feeling con la pista tedesca ed ha concluso al 4° posto.
Grandissima partenza per i due piloti del Fantic Factory Team Maddii che si sono subito portati in testa al gruppo con Alexis Fueri seguito dal compagno di squadra Cas Valk, i due giovani talenti in sella alle loro Fantic XX 125 hanno fatto il vuoto alle loro spalle grazie ad un incredibile ritmo. Sotto la bandiera a scacchi è Fueri a vincere seguito da Valk.
Alexis Fueri vince il Gp di Germania e si riporta in seconda posizione in campionato, Cas Valk occupa il secondo gradino del podio e aumenta il vantaggio in classifica e mantiene saldamente la tabella rossa.
Nell’Europeo EMX250 Cornelius Tondel non ha ancora smaltito le fatiche delle ultime gare e si presenta a questo appuntamento debilitato, la pista di Teutschenthal non è congeniale per i due piloti Fantic avendo un fondo molto duro.
La qualifica vede Tondel e Osterhagen non trovare il giro giusto per poter far segnare un buon crono, Cornelius è nono e Hakon quattordicesimo.
Nella prima manche Tondel ha cercato di difendersi il più possibile e cercare di non perdere troppi punti in classifica, con una gara cercando di non commettere errori ha concluso al settimo posto. Osterhagen partendo da una posizione al cancello non delle migliori non ha trovato una buona partenza e ha non ha potuto fare meglio della 12° piazza finale.
Seconda manche non semplice per Tondel e Osterhagen che non sono mai entrati in sintonia con il circuito tedesco, complice anche qualche piccolo errore non sono riusciti ad esprimersi come avrebbero voluto terminando Cornelius settimo e Hakon nono.
Nicholas Lapucci dopo l’ottima prestazione in Francia si presenta in Germania non al 100% delle condizioni fisiche a causa di uno stato influenzale che non gli ha dato la possibilità di allenarsi in settimana.
In qualifica Nicholas fa segnare il 21° tempo, purtroppo nella manche di qualifica dopo pochi giri si è dovuto ritirare a causa delle sue condizioni fisiche precarie e per non rischiare inutili cadute ha preferito fermarsi.
Purtroppo Nicholas risente della forma influenzale che lo ha colpito in settimana e non è stato in grado di prendere il via alle gare.
Marco Maddii commenta così la gara:”Un fine settimana fantastico per i ragazzi della 125 con la vittoria di Fueri che si è ripreso la seconda posizione in campionato e il secondo posto di Valk che è sempre primo con 27 punti di vantaggio. Nella 250 una gara difficile, Cornelius ha perso qualche punto ma è ancora ampiamente in corsa per il titolo. Lapucci non ha corso per problemi fisici ma sarà al via nella gara di campionato Italiano ad Arco di Trento.”
Alexis Fueri commenta così la gara:”Provo sempre a dare il massimo per arrivare al miglior risultato e qui in Germania sono arrivato alla vittoria, in gara 2 ho spinto al massimo per cercare di prendere vantaggio e così è stato. Sono veramente contento, cercheremo di continuare su questa strada.”

Phenomenal double victory in Germany for Fueri and Valk in the EMX125
The German track of Teutschenthal hosted the third consecutive round of the Championship and the Fantic Factory Team Maddii did not miss it. After riding on the muddy track of Erneè, this time conditions were different and the dust affected riders’ visibility since the first day of practice.
Cas Valk and Alexis Fueri were the stars of the 125cc qualifying session, being the fastest of their group with the first and third time.
At the start of the first moto the two riders managed by Marco Maddii could not perform as they had wished and after the first lap Alexis was fourth followed by Cas in fifth position. The young French rider increased his race pace in the following laps and ended the race with a solid second spot thanks to a smart strategy. Cas Valk struggled a bit and classified fourth.
The two riders of the Fantic Factory Team Maddii stunned the crowd in the second moto, where they pulled away at the start with their Fantic XX 125 machineries and moved to the head of the pack. Alexis Fueri led the way followed by teammate Cas Valk and thanks to their speed there was nobody else behind them. Fueri reached the checkered flag in first and won the race followed by Valk.
Alexis Fueri was crowned winner of the German GP and moved back to the second position in the Championship standings. Cas Valk stood on the second step of the podium and is still holding the red plate in the Championship standings where he also increased his advantage.
In the EMX250 Cornelius Tondel got to the track despite being still debilitated after the efforts made in the previous races. Furthermore, the track of Teutschenthal and its hard pack ground were not so suitable for the riding style of the Fantic riders.
Tondel and Osterhagen tried their best in the qualifying but could only reach the ninth and 14th time respectively.
In the first moto Tondel tried to defend himself from rivals and avoided losing points in the standings. At the end of the race he classified seventh. Osterhagen did not start from one of the best positions available and this affected his performance, in fact he ended up 12th.
The second moto was hard for both Tondel and Osterhagen, who never found the right feeling with the German track and were also affected by a few mistakes. Cornelius classified seventh and Hakon was ninth.
After the great performance registered at the French GP, Nicholas Lapucci was not in great shape for the GP of Germany. Unfortunately the rider was affected by a flu which also prevented him from training during the week.
Nicholas was 21st in the qualifying, while he was forced to abandon the race during the first moto in order to avoid pointless crashes.
Flu affected Nicholas’ performances and prevented him from disputing the GP.
Marco Maddii: “It was an amazing weekend for the riders of the 125cc. Fueri took back the second spot in the standings thanks to the GP victory and Valk, with the second place, is still keeping the first place with a margin of 27 points. The EMX250 riders faced a tough race and despite Cornelius lost points he is still battling it out for the title. Physical problems affected Nicholas so he missed the GP, but he’ll be ready to take part in the race of the Italian Championship scheduled in Arco di Trento”.
Alexis Fueri: “I always try to do my best and reach the best result I can and here in Germany I took the victory. In race2 I pushed myself to the limit in order to take advantage and I made it. I’m very happy. I’ll try to keep it up”.
