La nuova formula dei GP di quest’anno ci ha visto correre martedì e mercoledì il quarto MXGP della stagione sempre sul tracciato di Kegums per l’occasione leggermente modificato rispetto al week end precedente.

Risultati positivi anche in queste due giornate di gara, Raffaele Giuzio#220 nel campionato Europeo conferma ancora le sue prestazioni della gara precedente e porta a casa altri tre punti importanti con un diciottesimo posto.

Nella classe MXGP ancora una gara positiva per Michele Cervellin #747 che al suo primo anno nella classe regina dimostra già di aver capito come si guida la YZ450F e di essere fisicamente preparato. In gara uno Michele parte subito bene nei primi cinque cercando di prendere il passo gara dei primi, una piccola torsione del ginocchio lo fà rallentare un po’ ma comunque riuscendo a concludere tredicesimo. Brutta partenza invece in gara due costringe Michele a lottare per rientrare nella zona punti fino alla sedicesima posizione, risultati comunque importanti visto il livello dei piloti in campo.
Nella MX2 Rubén Fernandez #70 dopo il bellissimo terzo posto del week end precedente aveva voglia di riconfermare la bella prestazione, purtroppo una caduta al via di gara uno complica la situazione è Rubén è costretto a dover rimontare dall’ultima posizione eseguendo oltre venti sorpassi e riuscendo a concludere dodicesimo. In gara due Rubén non parte benissimo ma non vuole nemmeno rischiare di commettere errori sul tracciato oramai molto danneggiato dalle gare precedenti e senza prendere troppi rischi risale fino alla settima posizione che gli permette di concludere un altro ottimo GP in settima posizione assoluta e dimostrando oramai una solidità per poter competere sempre per la top ten del mondiale.
Nuovo appuntamento il prossimo week end sempre sempre a a Kegums per l’ultimo GP della Lettonia.

The new GP formula this year saw us race the fourth MXGP of the season on Tuesday and Wednesday, again on the Kegums track for the occasion, slightly modified compared to the previous weekend.
Positive results also in these two days of competition, Raffaele Giuzio # 220 in the European championship still confirms his performances of the previous race and takes home another three important points with an eighteenth place.
In the MXGP class another positive race for Michele Cervellin # 747 who in his first year in the premier class already shows that he has understood how to ride the YZ450F and that he is physically prepared. In race one Michele immediately starts well in the top five trying to take the pace of the leaders, a small twist of the knee slows him down a bit but still manages to finish thirteenth. On the other hand, a bad start in race two forces Michele to fight to get back into the points area up to sixteenth position, however important results for the level of the riders on the track.
In MX2 Rubén Fernandez # 70 after the beautiful third place of the previous weekend wanted to reconfirm the good performance, unfortunately a crash at the start of race one complicates the situation and Rubén is forced to recover from the last position by performing over twenty overtakes and managing to finish twelfth. In race two Rubén does not start very well but does not even want to risk making mistakes on the track which is now very damaged by the previous races and without taking too many risks he climbs up to seventh position which allows him to finish another excellent GP in seventh absolute position and by now demonstrating a solidity in order to always compete for the top ten in the world championship.
New appointment next weekend still in Kegums for the last Latvian GP.
