Bariloche, 7-8 Marzo 2026 – Come da qualche anno a questa parte il mondiale motocross ha preso il via dall’Argentina. Questa volta, pur rimanendo nella Patagonia, è stato realizzato un tracciato molto spettacolare a Bariloche. Una pista molto veloce ed impegnativa dalle caratteristiche molto particolari.

Il nostro Cas Valk ha iniziato il week end del GP con le cronometrate che assegnavano i posti al cancelletto di partenza della manche di qualifica. Per lui a fine turno un 12° tempo.
Al via della Qualifying race della MX2 Cas non è scattato bene ma ha avuto la prontezza di recuperare diverse posizioni nel corso del primo giro. Transitato poco oltre la top ten nel corso della gara ha sopravanzato altri piloti per andare a chiudere in 9° posizione.

Domenica la prima manche non è partita bene, Cas infatti è stato coinvolto in una caduta con altri piloti ed è ripartito tra gli ultimi. Da li ha dato il via alla sua rimonta che lo ha portato a transitare sotto la bandiera a scacchi in 14° posizione.
Nella seconda manche l’avvio non è stato buono e Cas si è ritrovato a centro gruppo. Con un ottimo primo giro si è subito inserito nei primi dieci e da li ha fatto la sua gara. Negli ultimi minuti ha fatto valere la sua freschezza atletica per risalire un paio di posizioni e concludere all’8° posto.
Con questi risultati Cas ha chiuso al 10° posto nella classifica del GP ed ora occupa la 9° posizione nella classifica generale del campionato.
Un inizio positivo che però ci ha fatto capire che si poteva ambire a qualcosa di più. Adesso si torna a lavorare per il prossimo impegno che è fissato per il fine settimana del 21 e 22 Marzo quando si disputerà il GP di Andalusia nel tracciato di Almonte, seconda prova di questo mondiale. Nella stessa occasione entrerà in gioco anche l’altro nostro pilota, Andrea Uccellini, impegnato nella prima prova di Europeo EMX125.
CAS VALK: “Nel complesso è stato un buon fine settimana per iniziare la stagione. Siamo arrivati al 10° posto assoluto dopo una prima manche difficile a causa di una caduta in partenza. Nella seconda manche è andata bene ma mi ci è voluto un po’ di tempo per aumentare il ritmo e recuperare altre posizioni. Sappiamo dove dobbiamo lavorare per essere più pronti per la Spagna! Grazie alla squadra per il viaggio in Argentina e per il duro lavoro”.

Bariloche, 7-8 March 2026 – As has been the case for a few years now, the world motocross championship started in Argentina. This time, while remaining in Patagonia, a very spectacular route was created in Bariloche. A very fast and demanding track with very particular characteristics.
Our Cas Valk started the GP weekend with the time trials assigning places at the starting gate of the qualifying heat. For him at the end of the session a 12th time.At the start of the MX2 Qualifying race Cas didn’t get off to a good start but was quick to recover several positions during the first lap. Having passed just outside the top ten during the race, he overtook other drivers to finish in 9th position.
On Sunday the first heat didn’t start well, Cas was in fact involved in a fall with other riders and restarted among the last. From there he began his comeback which led him to pass under the checkered flag in 14th position.In the second heat the start was not good and Cas found himself in the middle of the group. With an excellent first lap he immediately entered the top ten and from there he made his race. In the final minutes he made use of his athletic freshness to move up a couple of positions and finish in 8th place.With these results Cas finished in 10th place in the GP standings and now occupies 9th position in the general championship standings.A positive start which however made us understand that we could aspire to something more.
Now we get back to work for the next commitment which is set for the weekend of March 21st and 22nd when the Andalusia GP will take place on the Almonte track, the second round of this world championship. On the same occasion, our other driver, Andrea Uccellini, will also come into play, engaged in the first round of the EMX125 European Championship.
CAS VALK: “Overall it was a good weekend to start the season. We finished 10th overall after a difficult first moto due to a crash at the start. In the second moto it went well but it took me some time to increase the pace and recover other positions. We know where we need to work to be more ready for Spain! Thanks to the team for the trip to Argentina and for the hard work.”
