Alghero, 1 Febbraio 2026 – Il via alla stagione 2026 è stato dato dal difficilissimo tracciato del Lazzaretto di Alghero (SS) con la prima prova degli Internazionali d’Italia MX.
Le tante piogge cadute nei giorni precedenti alla gara hanno aumentato di molto le difficoltà di una pista già insidiosa per il terreno sabbioso.
Cas Valk ed Andrea Uccellini si sono comunque presentati molto concentrati a questo debutto con il team.
Il pilota olandese ha iniziato bene sin dal mattino con un bel secondo tempo nel suo gruppo di qualifica della MX2. Al via della prima manche è scattato nei primi cinque ma nel corso del primo giro un contatto con un avversario lo ha fatto cadere e ripartire nelle ultime posizioni. La sua rimonta è stata ottima considerando lo stato della pista e la difficoltà nel sorpassare viste le condizioni. Al traguardo è transitato in 9° posizione.
In gara due le cose sono iniziate allo stesso modo con Cas nei primi cinque sin da subito. Questa volta è riuscito a passare indenne le prime fasi di gara per poi imporre il suo ritmo che dopo un paio di bei sorpassi lo ha portato alle spalle di Langenfelder che era secondo. Cas ha provato a passarlo nelle ultime battute ma poi si è accontentato di un’ottima terza posizione.
Con questi risultati nell’assoluta di giornata si è piazzato al 6° posto.

CAS VALK: “Sono contento di come è andata la prima gara con la TM e con il nuovo team. Sfortunatamente in gara uno ho avuto un piccolo incidente alla seconda curva che mi ha lasciato molto lavoro da fare, è stata una bella rimonta. Nella seconda manche buona partenza e una bella gara con una buona velocità! Ci vediamo il prossimo fine settimana per l’ultima prova di questi Internazionali!”
Per Andrea Uccellini la domenica è iniziata nel migliore dei modi con la conquista della pole position della 125! Al via della prima manche si è subito ritrovato al secondo posto e per alcuni giri ha tenuto a tiro la prima posizione. Purtroppo una scivolata gli ha rovinato i piani ma comunque è riuscito a ripartire ed a conservare la seconda posizione. In gara due altra bella partenza anche se questa volta ha dovuto risalire dal quarto posto. Al quinto giro mentre era all’attacco del secondo in classifica un problema tecnico alla sua moto lo ha costretto al ritiro. Peccato perché il podio ormai sembrava cosa fatta. Dopo questa prima prova Andrea nella classifica di questi Internazionali occupa la 10° posizione.

ANDREA UCCELLINI: “Sono molto contento di questa prima gara con il nuovo team anche se rimane un pizzico di amaro in bocca per un podio che era alla portata. Nella prima manche sono partito bene ma una scivolata ha complicato i miei piani e mi sono accontentato del secondo posto. La seconda manche è stata più difficile all’inizio anche se dal quarto posto mi ero portato a ridosso del secondo. Un problema alla moto purtroppo mi ha costretto al ritiro e così è sfumato il sogno di andare subito a podio. Ci riproveremo la settimana prossima a Mantova. Ringrazio tutti i ragazzi del team e tutti quelli che mi supportano. Non vedo l’ora che arrivi domenica prossima!!”.
Domenica prossima 8 Febbraio sul tracciato di Mantova l’ultimo atto degli Internazionali d’Italia MX 2026 con entrambi i nostri piloti ancora una volta in gara.

Alghero, 1 February 2026 – The start of the 2026 season was given by the very difficult course of the Lazzaretto in Alghero (SS) for the first race of International of Italy MX. The heavy rain that fell in the days preceding the race greatly increased the difficulties of an already treacherous track due to the sandy terrain.
However, Cas Valk and Andrea Uccellini showed up very focused at this debut with the team.
The Dutch rider started well in the morning with a good second time in his MX2 qualifying group. At the start of the first heat he started in the top five but during the first lap a contact with an opponent caused him to fall and start again in the last positions. His comeback was excellent considering the state of the track and the difficulty in overtaking given the conditions. At the finish line he passed in 9th position.In race two things started the same way with Cas in the top five straight away. This time he managed to get through the first stages of the race unscathed and then impose his pace which, after a couple of good overtaking moves, put him behind Langenfelder who was second. Cas tried to pass him in the final stages but then settled for an excellent third position.With these results in the overall of the day he placed 6th place.
CAS VALK: “I’m happy with how the first race went with TM and with the new team. Unfortunately in race one I had a small accident at the second corner which left me with a lot of work to do, it was a good comeback. In the second heat, good start and a good race with good speed! See you next weekend for the last round of these Internationals!”
For Andrea Uccellini, Sunday started in the best way possible with the conquest of the pole position of the 125! At the start of the first heat he immediately found himself in second place and for a few laps he kept the first position within reach. Unfortunately, a crash ruined his plans but he still managed to restart and maintain second position. In race two another good start even if this time he had to move up from fourth place. On the fifth lap, while he was attacking the second in the standings, a technical problem with his bike forced him to retire. It’s a shame because the podium now seemed like a done deal. After this first test Andrea occupies 10th position in the rankings of these Internationals.

ANDREA UCCELLINI: “I’m very happy with this first race with the new team even if there’s a hint of bitterness left in my mouth for a podium that was within reach. In the first heat I started well but a crash complicated my plans and I was satisfied with second place. The second heat was more difficult at the start even though from fourth place I was close to second. Unfortunately, a problem with the bike forced me to retire and so the dream of going to the podium straight away ended. We’ll try again. next week in Mantua. I thank all the guys on the team and everyone who supports me. I can’t wait for next Sunday!”
Next Sunday 8 February on the Mantua track will be the last act of the Internazionali d’Italia MX 2026 with both our riders once again competing.
