Loket, 26/27 Luglio 2025 – La quattordicesima prova del Mondiale motocross ha coinciso con la gara di casa per Julius Mikula. Il GP della Repubblica Ceca è stato sicuramente importante sotto molti aspetti, alla fine è andato tutto molto bene.

Nel sabato dedicato alle qualifiche Julius in sella alla sua TM 250 MX FI ha affrontato le cronometrate con pista ancora asciutta. Ma nel pomeriggio, poco prima del via della manche di qualifica, un forte acquazzone si è abbattuto sul tracciato rendendo la pista fangosa e scivolosa.
Julius, che conosce il tracciato molto bene anche in condizioni estreme, ne ha approfittato partendo ottimamente ed insediandosi subito a ridosso della top five. Per tutta la gara non ha mollato e con un buon ritmo e senza commettere errori ha chiuso al 7° posto conquistando anche una buona posizione al cancelletto di partenza per le due manche della domenica.
Al via della prima manche il suo scatto non è stato dei migliori e lo ha relegato a centro gruppo. Julius ha iniziato da li una risalita della classifica che lo ha portato al traguardo in 12° posizione.
Nella seconda manche lo start è stato migliore ma anche in questa frazione non è riuscito ad entrare nella top ten battagliando sempre poco oltre la stessa. Dopo i trenta minuti più due giri è transitato sotto la bandiera a scacchi in 13° posizione.
Con questi risultati ha chiuso al 12° posto nell’assoluta del GP della MX2 ed ora occupa sempre la 18° posizione in campionato.
Nel prossimo fine settimana si tornerà di nuovo in pista con il 15° round del mondiale e l’ultimo atto dell’Europeo EMX125. Vedremo impegnati quindi sia Mikula che Mannini.
JULIUS MIKULA: “La pista era molto buona, mi piace molto tanto girarci. Sabato all’inizio della giornata è stato piuttosto complicato perché sapevamo che sarebbe venuta la pioggia. La pista era allagata nella manche di qualifica ma questo mi piaceva ancora di più ed ho finito al settimo posto con grande felicità per tutti noi. Domenica ho avuto cattive partenze e poi è stato difficile riportarsi nelle zone alte della classifica. Ma finire la prima manche 12° e una seconda manche al 13° posto nonostante la pista fosse molto dissestata è stato un buon risultato. I fan erano fantastici, ad ogni giro era così bello poterli sentire bene, quindi grazie a loro. Infine i ringraziamenti alla mia famiglia ed alla mia squadra, senza di loro questo non sarebbe stato così speciale“.

LOKET, 26/27 July 2025 – The fourteenth test of the Motocross World Championship coincided with the home race for Julius Mikula.
The GP of the Czech Republic was certainly important in many respects, in the end everything went very well. On Saturday dedicated to the qualifications Julius riding his TM 250 MX FI marked the Time Practice on dry track.
But in the afternoon, just before the start of the qualifying race, a strong downpour hit the track making the track muddy and slippery. Julius, who knows the track very well even in extreme conditions, took advantage of it starting well and setting up immediately close to the Top Five. Throughout the race he did not give up and with a good rhythm and without making mistakes he closed in 7th place also winning a good position at the starting gate for the two Sunday heats.
At the start of the first heat his shot was not the best and relegated him to the center of the group. Julius started a rise from the ranking that led him to the finish line in 12th position. In the second heat, the start was better but also in this fraction he was unable to enter the top ten always battling just beyond the same. After thirty minutes plus two laps passed under the checkered flag in 13th position. With these results he closed in 12th place in the absolute of the MX2 GP and now always occupies the 18th position in the championship.
In the next weekend we will return to the track again with the 15th round of the World Cup and the last act of the European EMX125. We will therefore see both Mikula and Mannini engaged.
Julius Mikula: “The track was very good, I really like to turn around. Saturday at the beginning of the day it was quite complicated because we knew the rain would come. The track was flooded in the heats of qualification but I liked this even more and I finished in seventh place with great happiness for all of us. On Sunday I had bad departures and then it was difficult to report in the upper areas of the ranking. But finish the first 12th and second cave in 13th place in the place. It was a good result. The fans were crazy, each lap was so nice to be able to feel them well, so thanks to them. Finally, thanks to my family and my team, without them this would not have been so special “.
